Since 1992 the Industrial Marketing Department are the member of Management and Marketing Faculty of the National Technical University of Ukraine «Kiev Polytechnic Institute». The necessity to provide the national enterprises with highly skilled specialists of marketing, industrial marketing, marketing researches came forward conceptual basis of its creation and development.

The Industrial Marketing Department is aimed at the research and development of modern conceptions of marketing management and preparation of highly skilled specialists for work on the state and international markets. For this purpose the department keeps friendly relations with the ministries, agencies and core enterprises efficiently cooperates with the leading domestic enterprises: the Ukrainian Marketing Association, Ukrainian guild of industrialists and entrepreneurs, Kiev City Administration, closed corporation «Ukraine Autotrading », company «Kvant-Efir», «Pivdenteploenergomontazh» join stock company etc.

The graduates of the department hold the leading posts in the major national and international companies.

The stuff of the department successfully combines the teaching work with permanent scientific researches and cooperation with national and international companies. The Department’s research efforts concerns the study of the marketing management problem of enterprises, market research of industrial and consumer markets, strategic marketing, forming and development of the strong competitive advantage of enterprises, forming of the effective company’s product policy, innovative marketing.

The Industrial Marketing Department is the founder of Ukrainian Public Organization «Ukrainian Marketing Association» and professional magazine «Marketing in Ukraine». The students of the department get fundamental peculiar to university education knowledge of marketing and topical markets skills for the complex strategic and tactic marketing decision making.

The Industrial Marketing Department prepares:

  • Bachelors («Economy and enterprise»);
  • Master’s degrees («Marketing»).

Due to the program of second education the department workers have the opportunity to obtain the experience and career growth in marketing area, the best students of university technical departments enlarge their knowledge in marketing and simultaneously get two diploma: the first of engineer and another one of marketing economist.
The students’ preparation is carried out according to the next forms of education:

  • Full-time;
  • Extra-mural;
  • Second education (2,5 evening and extra-mural form of study).

The graduating students of the Industrial Marketing Department can hold the positions of the marketing specialist, marketing service manager, marketing analyst, brand-manager, sales-manager, advertising manager, RR-manager, director of the marketing department etc.

The Industrial Marketing Department carries out the preparation of the highly qualified specialists and scientists. There are also the post-graduate course and the institution of doctoral candidacy according to the specialization 08.00.04 «Economy and management of enterprises».
The post-graduate students’ forms of study:

  • Full-time;
  • Extra-mural.

Since the time of creation there were graduated 14 candidates of science and 1 doctor of science.
